Marcelo Livramento has a degree in Biochemistry and Bioengineering, with over a decade of experience in multidisciplinary research, including biochemical, genetic, and microbiological techniques.
In recent years, his work has focused on aquaculture and animal health, particularly the microbiology and parasitology of marine fish.
At S2AQUAcoLAB, he is part of the AQUA4ALL project team, which is dedicated to the use of microalgae for the bioremediation of effluents from aquaculture recirculation systems and the development of value-added products.
