The FEASTS project was launched in January this year during a meeting in Lisbon that brought together a consortium of 36 institutions from 17 countries.
S2AQUA participated in the first meeting of the FEASTS Project - Fostering European Cellular Agriculture for Sustainable Transition Solutions (HORIZON-CL6-2023-FARM2FORK-01). FEASTS is a multidisciplinary project aimed at fostering the sustainable development of lab-grown meat and fish. It is coordinated by Instituto Superior Técnico, funded by the European Commission, and involves European institutions as well as partners from Japan and Canada.
S2AQUAcoLAB is actively involved in this project, focusing on the development and promotion of sustainable cellular aquaculture, seeing it as an opportunity to help shape the future of the European food system.
